Second Saturdays is an extremely loved ministry of KCA. This is an opportunity for our church family to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we pour back into our community every second Saturday of the month.

This month’s Second Saturday is going to be extra special! Instead of gathering to serve in our usual spots, we have the incredible opportunity to come alongside another local church family—Abernathy Assembly of God—and bless them in a very tangible way.
We’ll be rolling up our sleeves to clean and paint around the church property. It’s not just about fresh walls or tidy spaces—it’s about showing love in action. Our service will help Abernathy Assembly create a welcoming environment where people can encounter God, and we get to be a part of that mission.
Meet at the church at 9am in the Café, and then we will carpool over.
This is more than just a workday—it’s a chance to be the hands and feet of Jesus, to build friendships, and to remind a local church that they are not alone. Let’s show up big, work hard, and make this Second Saturday one to remember.

Second Saturday this month is Catlin Cemetery Clean-Up!
This month, we’re honoring our community’s history and those who’ve gone before us.
Join us on Saturday, October 11 from 9am to 12pm as we serve at Catlin Cemetery, a historic local resting place that KCA has adopted to keep clean and landscaped. This is a powerful opportunity to give back by preserving sacred ground and showing respect to the legacy of generations past.
Bring gloves, yard tools (if you have them), and a heart ready to serve.
Meet at the church at 9am in the Café — we’ll head over together.
Let’s serve with purpose and care — preserving our heritage, one headstone at a time.
